This 10-day grand Morocco tour from Marrakech crosses the whole country, from the Atlantic to the Mediterranean. First, you enjoy Essaouira and a guided day in Marrakech. Then, you follow the kasbah road to the Sahara and spend a full day in the desert. Finally, you explore Fes with a guide and finish in the north, through Chefchaouen to Tangier.

Your driver meets you at Marrakech airport and takes you to your riad. The rest of the day is free to settle in and enjoy Jemaa el-Fna in the evening.
After breakfast, you drive west to Essaouira, about 3 hours away. Then, you explore the UNESCO-listed medina, the ramparts and the fishing port. You spend the night by the sea.
After breakfast, you return to Marrakech. In the afternoon, a licensed local guide shows you the Koutoubia, the Bahia Palace and the souks. About 3 hours of driving.
You cross the High Atlas by the Tizi n’Tichka pass at 2,260 meters. Next, you explore the kasbah of Ait Ben Haddou. Then, you pass Ouarzazate and the Rose Valley to the Dades Valley for dinner. About 7 hours of driving.
After breakfast, you walk through Todra Gorge. Then, you continue to Merzouga and ride a camel into the Erg Chebbi dunes for sunset. Dinner and Berber drums at the camp end the day. About 4 hours of driving.
After sunrise and breakfast, a 4×4 takes you to a nomad family and to Khamlia, a village known for Gnaoua music. You also see the palm groves and the seasonal lake, which holds water only after rain. The night is in a hotel facing the dunes.
You visit Rissani and follow the Ziz Valley north. After lunch in Midelt, you cross the cedar forest of Azrou and Ifrane, and reach Fes in the evening. This is the longest day, at about 8 hours of driving.
A licensed local guide leads you through Fes el-Bali, a UNESCO World Heritage Site. You see the Al Attarine Madrasa, the Chouara Tanneries and the craft quarters. No long drives today.
You visit the imperial city of Meknes and the Roman ruins of Volubilis. Then, you climb into the Rif Mountains and reach Chefchaouen for the night. About 4.5 hours of driving.
After a quiet morning in the blue medina, you drive to Tangier, about 2 hours away. Your driver drops you at Tangier airport, the port or your hotel.
