The Toubkal trek 2 days is the most popular way to reach the roof of North Africa. You drive from Marrakech to the village of Imlil, walk up the valley past Aroumd and the shrine of Sidi Chamharouch to the Toubkal refuge, and climb to the summit early the next morning for views over the whole High Atlas. It is a demanding hike with long days, ideal for fit walkers. If you prefer a gentler pace, choose the 3-day Toubkal trek below. Read more about the Toubkal National Park.
