How to Get There: Morocco Tours from Spain by Plane or Ferry

You can arrive in two ways. First, the plane is the fastest option. Royal Air Maroc, Air Arabia Maroc, Vueling, and Ryanair fly to Morocco from several Spanish cities. Routes and schedules change by season. Therefore, check the airline website, such as Royal Air Maroc or Vueling.

Second, the ferry leaves from southern Spain. The crossing from Tarifa to Tangier Ville takes about one hour. In contrast, Algeciras to Tanger Med takes about an hour and a half. Moreover, Tanger Med is around 40 kilometers from the city. Operators such as FRS and Baleària run these routes. If you arrive in Tangier, see our tours from Tangier.

Documents for Morocco Tours from Spain

  • Passport: a valid passport with more than six months of validity is required. A Spanish ID card is not enough.

  • Insurance: take travel insurance with medical cover, because the European Health Card does not cover Morocco.
