Day 1 : Fez – Ifrane – Azrou – Merzouga – Night in a Berber camp.
After breakfast, we start our trip in the direction of the dunes of Erg Chebbi Merzouga. Crossing the mountains of the Middle Atlas. In this area, we will have stops to take photos in panoramic views. Then, we drive to the valley of Ziz and the palm groves of Tafilalet where we will have lunch. Afterwards, we continue to Erfoud, the city of dateles and the marble factory for fossil production. Our circuit continues towards the dunes of Erg Chebbi in Merzouga. The night is in the middle camp of the highest dunes in Morocco, below the Berber tent after a camel excursion.
Day 2 : Merzouga – Desert journey
Once the breakfast is finished, we will travel in 4 × 4 the tracks that they used in the “Paris-Dakar Rally”, we will visit the desert nomads with whom we will have tea and see the oasis where some films like “Sahara” were filmed. We will visit the town of Khamlia, named for the slave trade they brought from the Sudan and tour Erg chebbi. After the visit at lunchtime, we go to a drinking family’s house, where they will taste the typical and traditional food, in addition to the rich Al Madfouna (Berber Pizza). After lunch, we head back to the hotel, so they can rest. In the afternoon the dromedaries will wait for us to enter the desert and contemplate an unforgettable sunset. The night will be special, as they will have the opportunity to sleep in a Jaima surrounded by dunes, as do the Berbers. They will also enjoy a traditional dinner, and after the live drum music by the bonfire and if there is luck, a starry sky.
Day 3: Merzouga – Errachidia – Ziz Valley – Medilt – Fes
After breakfast . We’ll depart towards the Vallley of Ziz, on the way back to Fes. Our last day of the trip will include some stop in the Middle Atlas mountains and the city of Ifrane. Once we arrive, we will drive to your hotel where our trip comes to the end.
